What is a Cat Café?

At The Pretty Paw Lounge, you'll not only find delicious baked treats (including gluten-free and vegan options!) and caffeinated beverages to help you power through even the toughest day, you're also able to enjoy the best cuddles at any coffee shop in the area!

That's right! We have adorable kitties, great caffeinated drinks, local baked goods, and a gift shop with local vendors! Don't worry, our sweet felines are kept completely separate from the food and beverages, fully in compliance with New York Health Codes.

Donations

In addition to our cats' wellness check-ups, we always have new cats and kittens coming in that need some kind of vet care- whether it be dental surgery, eye drops, or a spay/neuter.

Whose cats are they?

This is the best part. At The Pretty Paw Lounge, we work in conjunction with shelters across New York to care for our fur babies and find them forever homes. While we want you to leave happily with a bit of a sugar high or a caffeine buzz, we would really be over the moon if you left with your new forever friend!

Can I just play with the cats?

Yes! While our mission is to help all our furry staff find forever homes with loving people, we realize not everyone who adores cats is able to have their own. We also know this region is a temporary home for many college students and visitors, so perhaps you're away from your own pet(s) and you're longing for a little kitty snuggle time while here in the Capital District.
